Suttons Performance Packaging operates an industry-leading recycling programme exclusively for the benefit of its customers and related parties.
The programme has been designed to meet our own obligations as a responsible packaging producer along with the environmental objectives of our customers who wish to avoid disposal through expensive and wasteful landfill methods.
By agreement, used packaging materials, namely corrugated cardboard and polyethylene foam (LDPE foam) originally supplied and converted by us is collected and taken back to our factory site for processing.
Although there is a cost for us to collect the used packaging material from our clients this can often be mitigated by scheduling new deliveries and collection of waste packaging on the same day. However, the cost of sorting, processing and recycling materials back in to the supply chain is completely free - making this a win/win scenario.
